Ron Jeffries and Chet Hendrickson Live from Agile 2017

When Ron and Chet stop by for an interview during the Agile Conference, you never really know what will happen. Ron Jeffries is one of the founders of XP and has written books on XP and is one of the original signatories of the Agile Manifesto. Chet Hendrickson is Agile software development coach and XP specialist with over 22 years in the industry. In this interview, after a brief discussion about craft services, Ron and Chet field questions that Dave has been saving up for months. Some of these are follow ups from previous discussions with them, some from other interviews and some are from students. Some of the topics Ron and Chet explain / debate include:  Why everything should be a “1” and how to get your work that small;  Why they prefer to only work on things that require a single acceptance test; and Why it does not make sense to have everything a team will do written up in User Story format.

(Sadly, the camera auto-shut off kicked in a few minutes before the end, but Ron and Chet did do an actual mic drop… with lapel mics… it was pretty amazing.)
