Why Agile Teams Don’t Make You An Agile Organization

It’s great to start at the team level during a Transformation, but we can’t expect team level change to seamlessly change the entire business at every level—because the business itself is not designed to support Agility in the first place.

We’ve got to make changes that can start to remodel this underlying ecosystem so that it becomes one that’s also able to support what the teams are doing and fully align the organization to its customers and markets.

Without this alignment, we may have Agile teams but we’ll struggle to ever become Agile as an organization.
